The following research tasks are implemented by the scientific staff of IGIC:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Materials<\/em><em> for eco-energy, optical and biomedical technologies<\/em><em>;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Materials and processes for environmental protection<\/em><em> and combating <\/em><em>climate change;<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Utilization of natural resources and ecological monitoring;<\/li>\n<li>New approaches to instrumental and theoretical analysis of materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The innovation activities are focused on the development of <em>clean technologies<\/em>. The Institute disposes a <strong>modern infrastructure<\/strong>, including equipment (based on diffraction, microscopic and spectroscopic methods) for analysis of the surface and bulk of materials, as well as for determining their thermal, catalytic and electrochemical properties.
